PROFESSIONAL FERTILIZER AND WEED CONTROL PROGRAMS

We offer a six application program that includes a fertilizer that is formulated for professional use and a variety of products that help control the weeds in your lawn. Our standard program offers a high quality fertilizer that will promote healthy top growth to help make your lawn look attractive and also develop the deep root system that is the foundation of a beautiful lawn. We also use preemergents and weed killers to remove unwanted weeds from your lawn. We believe that our standard fertilizer program is excellent: we use 65-90% slow release fertizer, sulfate of potash, and high quality micronutrients and biostimulants to help improve the soil by stimulating the microlife of the soil.

In addition to our standard program, we offer a six application organic lawn fertilizer program. This program consists of mostly organic products designed to improve the soil microlife which should increase your lawns ability to resist disease and insect problems. It should also increase the efficiency of your water usage. This program includes Holganics, an organic concentrated compost tea which includes kelp, endo and ecto mycorrhizae, humic and fulvic acids, protozoa, auxin, food for the microorganisms in your soil, yucca extract, amino acids, lignin polymers, quality composted chicken manure and some standard fertilizer. The weed control program is available for no additional cost with this program if you desire.

We also offer a fungicide program, but you must take our fertilizer program to be on the fungicide program.

STANDARD LAWN APPLICATION PROGRAM:

Early Spring Application (March - April): Includes a balanced granular fertilizer designed to help grass recover from the winter stress, and a preemergent to kill and control summer annuals like spurge (carpetweed) and crabgrass.

Spring Application (May): Includes a liquid weed control product designed to control over 40 different weeds including dandelions and thistles. It also includes a customized micronutrient solution applied to improve the health of your turf.

Insecticide (May): This application targets insects that damage the lawn (Billbugs, Chinch Bugs, Grubs, Sod Webworms). The product we use is compromised of non-irritant and non toxic components, making it safe for humans, pets, bees, earthworms and birds. This is applied at the same time as the spring application.

Summer Application (June): Includes a granular slow release balanced fertilizer – designed especially for your lawn. Weeds will also be spot treated as needed.

Late Summer Application (End of July - August): Includes a granular slow release fertilizer and a spot treated weed killer designed to kill the hard to control summer weeds.

Fall Application (October): Includes a customized fertilizer designed to prepare your lawn for winter and to stimulate deep and healthy root growth. The weeds will be spot treated with the appropriate products.

ORGANIC LAWN APPLICATION PROGRAM:

Early Spring Application (March - April): This application includes two options. 1) A standard fertilizer with a preemergent for spurge and crabgrass and other annuals, or 2) A high quality composted organic fertilizer with Holganics.

Spring Application (May): A liquid customized micronutrient solution is applied to improve the health of your turf while also targeting the microlife of your soil. If you choose to have the weeds controlled, a liquid weed killer will be applied to control the weeds.

Summer Application (June- early July): A high quality composted organic fertilizer plus Holganics.

Late Summer Application (August-Early September): A high quality composted organic fertilizer plus Holganics.

Fall Application (October): An organic based winterizer fertilizer plus Holganics.
